The documentary features men convicted domestic violence abuser as well as the instructor who's helping them to recover. A convicted abuser attempts to reenter society through the completion of a state mandated Batterer Intervention Program with the help of a passionate instructor. What does society owe people who do bad? No one is born to be a monster and everyone deserve a second chance. Rather than tell the story of a victim's path to recovery, the directors concentrate on how instances of abuse can be prevented in the first place. Perhaps, after watching the film, the audience will walk away with a better understanding of how we, as a society, can better address the social issue of domestic abuse
